Overnight Care

A loved one may not feel as safe at night as they do in the daytime. Needing services overnight could be the result of a fall, recent illness or a return from the hospital.

We can also complete overnights for people who are terminally ill and often require support 24 hours a day.

Overnights are usually 10pm to 7am (9 hours) but this can be altered on request. We provide two levels of service.  A “sleep-in” is when a carer is at the premises but can be woken up 2-3 times in the night, for example helping a person go to the bathroom. The higher level of service is a “waking watch” where the care is awake the full duration providing care services.
