When we started the business in 2012 one of our first customers had advanced Parkinsons, and from there we started to develop this as a specialism. We understand that Parkinsons comes in many forms, and in severity – it is much more than a “shaking arm tremor”. It can include difficulties walking, “freezing”, loss of balance, stiff muscles and difficulty swallowing.
We understand that Parkinsons can vary throughout the day – usually people improve later in the day as medication starts to work. We also understand that some medication for Parkinsons is time dependent.
