Short Term Respite Care
Generally, our customers require care on an ongoing basis. However, we can support people for a short period of time. The main reasons are if a main carer takes a break or if a family member goes on holiday. We can take some of the worries away from family by visiting an elderly relative daily to ensure they are keeping well when other family members are unavailable.
A second reason for short-term care is if a client is recovering from an operation or illness. Hip and knee replacements are particularly common operations experienced by older people and this can cause restricted mobility for approximately 6-8 weeks. We can support people until they regain full mobility.
