They are a great company, often putting in extra support at just an hour’s notice. They took my father to his specialist appointments at Salford Neurology Unit as I couldn’t get the time off work. Dad really enjoyed talking to the staff and as he lived alone, this cheered him up.

My mother had an operation and was generally unwell when she came out of hospital. At first she did not want to be alone at night in case something happened. Mum had an illness which was progressive and eventually became terminal. Independent Living helped with personal care and over time provided 24 hour care. When mum became seriously ill they arranged a large volume of care using just a handful of staff which mum really likes.

Independent Living provided a nice carer who cleaned my house, fetched the shopping and did jobs I could not manage myself. When the weather was good a carer also took me out on trips to Blackpool and Rivington.
