The Unusual Tasks Of A Carer!

A carer can do a range of tasks you wouldn’t normally associate with caring.  Many older people are housebound and cannot do tasks we take for granted.  Last week for example I took a watch for a new battery.  I reckon over recent years I have done this at least five times!  I know a battery can be fitted on Chorley Market for £3 on a Tuesday, or certain shops will give you a “lifetime battery” for £29.  People expect carers to make drinks, cook meals, prompt medication and help someone get dressed but there are many hidden roles that add quality to a customer’s life.
